Instructions for UA Employees (Faculty, Staff, Graduate Assistants and Student Employees)

To Begin MentalHealthEdu:

  • Log in to your myBama account
  • Click on the “Employee” tab at the top of the page
  • Click on the “MentalHealthEdu” logo
  • Under “New User”, enter the appropriate code from below. Your initial log in is specific to the division in which you work, according to the following:
    • Academic Affairs Faculty, Staff and Student employees (Graduate Assistants and student workers)  LOGIN: 8MH100751AA
    • Student Affairs - Professional Staff and Student employees (Graduate Assistants and student workers) LOGIN: 8MH100751SA
    • Financial Affairs Professional Staff and Student employees (Graduate Assistants and student workers) LOGIN: 8MH100751FA
    • Community Affairs, Athletics and Advancement Professional Staff and Student employees (Graduate Assistants and student workers) LOGIN:8MH100751CA
  • On the registration page:
    • Create your personal MentalHealthEdu account login (Please Use YOUR CRIMSON EMAIL ADDRESS as your login if you have one. If not, please use your Bama email address.)
    • Create a password you can remember
    • *IMPORTANT Profile information: please use your FULL name, Campus Wide Identification # and Crimson or Bama email address (yourname@crimson.ua.edu), as it is listed with the University
    • Click on “Create my account”
  • You may log in and out of the course at the end of each section. When you return, log in as a Returning User and enter the email address (YOUR CRIMSON EMAIL ADDRESS, preferably) and password you created when you first logged into the course.

Instructions for Non-UA Employees (Parents, Campus Ministers, House Directors)

To Begin MentalHealthEdu:

We encourage Campus Ministers, House Directors, and parents or guardians of UA Students, to become involved in our ongoing educational efforts to address mental health issues. One goal is to engage our entire campus community in the student’s overall wellness, by equipping our campus community with knowledge and resources that can help identify distressed students. We encourage you to take this mental health education program, and talk with your students about what you have learned.

 
To take the program, follow these steps:

  • Go to:  URL: http://www.mentalhealthedu.com/
  • Under “New User”, enter the following Login ID:
    • 8MH100751TH
  • Click "Sign Up"
  • On the registration page you will create your personal MentalHealthEdu account and a password of your choice.
  • You may log in and out of the course at your convenience.
  • When you return, log in as a "Returning User" and enter the same email address and password you created when you first logged into the course.
